"I know Iām repeating a lot of comments on here but this band made our wedding, they were fantastic from start to finish. We had Chris and Gabrielle play the ceremony and then play a couple of sets in the afternoon and they were brilliant. They learned some songs for our ceremony and nailed them. We had so many fantastic comments about them from our guests. Their sets through the day were superb as well, some brilliant songs which kept our guests entertained, couldnāt have asked for more. In the evening they were joined by the wider band who took it to the next level for the party. The songs they played they filled the floor all night and performed them first class. They even learned the song for our first dance and just made it extra special. So many good things to say about them, they were so professional throughout the entire event I wish I could do it all again. Can any party band play my favourite song?
Professional party bands will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that party bands may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the party band's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do party bands take to set up?
Your party band will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the party band prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performerās PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our party bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to Ā£10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our party bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
