Sharing my music with people and having an intimate experience with others is a truly special thing. I have been singing all of my life and picked up a guitar for the first time at the age of 13 and well, I fell in love. What an acoustic guitar and voice can do together is really special. I sang and played my guitar solely in my bedroom for a few years and then I finally gained the confidence to start street performing. This opened up a whole new love for my act. I have since busked regularly in Covent Garden in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! What I love the most about street performing is the encounters. The vast majority of people you get to meet and interact with is something that is so unique. I think one of the most memorable encounters has to be when the iconic Bill Bailey shouted out his dressing room window in Covent garden and threw down a handwritten note thanking me for the afternoon entertainment and my "beautiful" singing. Another cool moment was when the "super-producer" Glen Ballard, co-writer and producer of Alanis Morisette's "Jagged Little Pill" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller", came up during my set and complimented me on my version of his song! I am a Sofar Sounds artist and play intimate stripped gigs in different cities around the UK, showcasing my original music and connecting with people in a unique, special setting.
