Matheus Prado was born in Brazil and with nine years old he started playing piano. After his family moved to Europe, he learnt other instruments, but one of them touched him in a different way, the Bass. He had one of the best electric bass players as a first tutor, Fernando Lamadrid. After few months studying with Fernando, Matheus started gigging with local bands. A year after playing electric bass, Matheus started going to jazz concerts and the sound of the double fascinated him. He spent all his savings in double bass, student model. In order to improve his technique and knowledge of the instrument he took lessons with all the double bass players in Seville, and also traveled to other cities to meet other bass players. Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will try to be as flexible as I can. I do not book events that are close in time. I appreciate that you let me know if times change during the run up of the event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide a playlist between sets for no extra cost. Before and after has to be consulted and will be an extra charge for it.

How much time do you need to set up?

45 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, any piece from the set list works great.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I do. I just need to have a power supply at 10 meters maximum from the place I will play.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes I can. The songs will be performed in a Brazilian style. I need to evaluate the song to set the price. The minimum is £30.
